Terms and ConditionsPlease read the following terms and conditions in order to proceed with the booking. 1. A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the balance payable at least 2 weeks prior to arrival. Should the booking be made within 2 weeks of the specified arrival date, the full balance will be required at the time of booking. A contract of booking is made when we have received from you a completed booking form and reservation deposit and we have confirmed the booking with you. There is a £4 charge on all credit card transactions. 2. Checkout is 10.00am on the morning of the agreed departure date and check in is from 2.00pm onwards on the agreed arrival date. Should your travel arrangements fall out with these times, we will make every effort to accommodate alternative arrival and departure times, subject to previous/future guests’ arrival/departure times. The hirer agrees to vacate the premises at the termination of the agreed period of hire. 3. The premises, including the stairwell, are strictly non-smoking and candles or naked flames are not permitted. 4. Easylet Edinburgh Apartments regret that animals are not permitted on the premises. 5. The number of people occupying the premises shall not exceed the maximum number stated for your booking. 6. The hirer(s) shall not sub-let the premises or any part of the premises. 7. The hirer(s) shall refrain from causing a nuisance or disturbance to neighbours and agree to keep the premises in a clean and tidy condition and ensure the premises are left in this way for the next guests. A charge may apply for an excessive or unreasonable amount of cleaning at the termination of the agreed period of hire. 8. The hirer(s) agrees to pay for any damage to the premises or contents, beyond reasonable wear and tear. 9. The hirer(s) agree to leave the premises secure whenever unoccupied and to permit reasonable access to the owners, should entry by the owners be required during the hire period 10. Easylet Edinburgh Apartments accept no responsibility for loss, damage or accident to the hirer(s) or their property 11. Cancellation by Easylet Edinburgh Apartments: Easylet Edinburgh Apartments reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time, In the event of cancellation of a booking by Easylet a full refund will be given, although the Easylet will not be liable for any loss incurred by the hirer(s) outside of money paid to us. Easylet will not be liable for any loss or delay caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to the following: political unrest, terrorist activities, industrial disputes, fire or disruptions to transport. 12. Cancellation by the hirer(s): Easylet understand that unforeseen circumstances may occur that may result in the hirer(s) having to cancel the booking, therefore in the event of the hirer(s) canceling the booking. Cancellation Policy: 13. Cancellation 30 days or more prior to arrival: Full Refund 14. Cancellation 14 - 30 days prior to arrival: 50% will be Charged of the full rental fee. 16. We reserve the right to treat the booking as cancelled if the full balance is not paid within 1 week of the specified arrival date. 17. Easylet Edinburgh Apartments are to be used for the purposes of a holiday let to which Section 12(2) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 4 to the Housing (Scotland) Act 1988 apply. The booking agreement confers a right to occupy the accommodation for the agreed period only. The term hirer(s) refers to guests staying in the apartment.
